Return and Exchange Policy
At Skatescape, we want you to have the best gear for your ride. We offer a flexible 30-day exchange and store credit policy to ensure you get the perfect fit.
1. General Exchanges (Size & Change of Mind)
If you are unhappy with your choice or need a different size, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit under the following conditions:
Timeline: Request must be made within 30 days of receiving your item.
Condition: Items must be in original condition—unused, with all tags attached, and in the original packaging.
Testing: Please test your skates/gear indoors only. Items with visible wear (scratched stoppers, dirty wheels, etc.) cannot be accepted for exchange.
Price Adjustment: * If exchanging for a higher-priced item, the customer pays the difference.
If exchanging for a lower-priced item, the difference is issued as Store Credit.
2. Shipping for Returns
Customer Responsibility: For general exchanges, the customer bears the shipping cost to return the item to our warehouse.
Traceability: You must provide a tracking number/Airway Bill once shipped. Skatescape is not responsible for items lost in transit before they reach us.
Inspection: Upon arrival, items will be inspected. If they do not meet our "Original Condition" criteria, we reserve the right to return the item to you at your cost.
Defective or Incorrect Items
In compliance with the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act 1999, we take product quality seriously.
3. Your Rights for Defective Goods
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or significantly different from the website description:
Remedy Options: We will offer a one-to-one replacement or a store credit
Shipping Costs: Skatescape will bear all shipping costs for returning the defective item and sending out the replacement.
Notification: Please contact us via WhatsApp or our "Contact Us" page immediately with photos/videos of the defect.
4. Processing Time
Once we receive and verify your return, your exchange/store credit will be processed within fourteen (14) days.
